About
American Legion Post 423's aim during its establishment was to become a Riders' Post, where all entities of the American Legion Family come together with one voice: Legionnaires, Auxiliary members, Sons of the American Legion, and Riders, with supporters working side by side in service to our veterans, their families, and our community.
Chapter 423 will be unique in its approach. Our focus is on building camaraderie and fellowship through riding. We plan to visit other American Legion Posts, enjoy day rides to various destinations, share meals together, attend events, and organize overnight excursions. Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where members can enjoy the freedom of the open road while strengthening friendships and supporting the mission of the American Legion.
The American Legion Riders Chapter 423 will also maintain a strong presence in our community by participating in local events and charitable fundraising efforts, including support for veteran suicide prevention initiatives and youth programs. We are committed to serving without seeking personal recognition, always placing the mission first. Our chapter will participate in charity rides, poker runs, “Capture the Plaque” rides, and other activities that promote patriotism, veteran support, community involvement, and family values.
This is just the beginning of an exciting journey. We look forward to growing our chapter, serving our community, and representing American Legion Post 423 with pride wherever the road takes us.
