Client Care and Administrative Support

To provide client care services, in a Christian manner, to individuals who are eligible through the established guidelines of the Christian Service Center of Columbia County.

Purpose and Scope: To provide client care services, in a Christian manner, to individuals who are eligible through the established guidelines of the Christian Service Center of Columbia County.  Also, to assist in basic bookkeeping activities and work with a CPA.


Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:


Case Manager

  • Provide a Christian example of grace while challenging and assisting individuals to grow beyond their current situation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and advocate for individuals in need within the community
  • Interview and screen clients for eligibility according to established guidelines of the Christian Service Center
  • Maintain client case files through a client entry system
  • Verify individuals' information and ensure information is accurate
  • Communicate with various organizations, programs, and businesses
  • Develop plans of assistance in conjunction with the Assistant Director and Director
  • Review client progress
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of services towards assisting clients in need
  • Complete a monthly report on the outcomes of services
  • Provide administrative support such as: answering phones, filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
  • Contribute to team effort
  • Willingness to share the Gospel and pray with clients and others as opportunities are available. 

Information and Referral 

  • Refer clients to appropriate resources to further help and meet their needs

Bookkeeping 

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.
  • Process invoices, manage payments, and track incoming funds.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring the organization’s budget.
  • Ensure bank statements are reconciled regularly to maintain accurate records.
  • Track and record all donations and grants received, ensuring proper acknowledgment.
  • Utilize and maintain accounting software to ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Communicate with banks, vendors, and other external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Maintain organized files for financial documents, receipts, and records.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments; strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and provide own transportation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word)
  • Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping skills and experience working with Quickbooks Online

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience with client care services or related administrative assistant field
  • 1-2 years experience in bookkeeping and knowledge of Quickbooks Online
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved may be acceptable.
