2026 National Night Out is set for Tuesday, October 6th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

For those unfamiliar with the event, National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. This event offers the community an opportunity to connect with local law enforcement, build relationships, and access educational materials about services available throughout the area.

If you plan to attend, we ask that you bring something to inspire young minds. Many of our fellow agencies bring specialty vehicles. If you do not have a vehicle to display, a fun activity or game is encouraged. In previous years, DOC brought their hound puppies, and Century Ambulance set up an interactive CPR demo where participants could perform CPR on a mannequin and experience firsthand how challenging it can be to save a life.
