Citizens Police Academy presented by the Lake City Police Department

Join us for our FREE 10-week Citizens Police Academy. 

This program will give attendees an inside view into the operations of the Lake City Police Department, and help citizens better understand why we do what we do. Completion of this program makes attendees eligible to join the CPA Alumni Association, though this is not required. 

Classes are held each Thursday for 10 weeks, from 6pm to 9pm each night, and will cover various topics such as Patrol Operations, Traffic Enforcement, Narcotics Enforcement, and more. It will also feature hands-on activities and demonstrations such as a K9 Demonstration, Mock Crime Scene, ride-alongs, simulated firearms training and more!
