About The Presenter: Cessie Cothran is the Director of Advisory and Fractional CFO at Aligned CPA. After spending 19 years in the banking industry serving in various capacities including Chief Financial Officer and Financial Strategy Officer, while also being involved in strategic planning and human resources, she made the switch to Aligned CPA in 2022 to help local business owners understand their financials in order to make better decisions that will lead to the ultimate success and growth of their companies. She can also assist with Strategic Planning, process improvement, and team retreats. Cessie serves and has served on many local boards. She is currently the Treasurer for the Columbia County School Board Foundation, and she also serves as a Board Member for the Lake City Chamber of Commerce. She has two kids, Charlie and Callie, who keep her very busy, and she is married to her high school sweetheart, “Big” Charlie. Budgeting and Strategic planning have always come natural to her, and she says the most fulfilling part of her job is taking something complex, such as business financials, and breaking them down into concepts that clients can truly understand and use to create budgets and business growth goals.
