Join us for Badges & Splashes! 💦👮‍♀️🚒

Mark your calendars for a fun-filled afternoon on Wednesday, March 15th, from 1 PM to 3 PM at the First Federal Operations Building! 

We're bringing together families with children with disabilities and our amazing first responders for an afternoon of connection and understanding. We know that sometimes families of children with disabilities can feel hesitant about venturing out into the community, worried about their child's behavior and how others might react. This can sometimes create a sense of fear, even towards our dedicated first responders. 

Badges & Splashes is all about breaking down those walls and building positive relationships in a fun and relaxed environment! This event will give families a chance to connect with police officers, firefighters, and other first responders from our city and county in a casual setting. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to meet these community heroes and for first responders to get to know some of the incredible children in our community. 

Get ready for some splashing good times with blow-up water play (including a slide!), refreshing popsicles, and plenty of opportunities for conversation and connection. Let's build bridges and create a more inclusive community together! We can't wait to see you there!
