About Hooked on Heroes:

Hooked on Heroes is a volunteer based, local organization that gives approximately 250 Veterans an opportunity to get out on a boat and fish the flats in Steinhatchee. We strive to provide everything they will need to enjoy a day out on the water, catching fish and creating many memories. Everything is included for them from the rods and reels to the drinks and meals for an all day event with no worries! We participate in several different local events and offer any veteran the chance to sign up for these trips in advance.

We also rely on hundreds of boat owners offering their time and use of their boat, as they are an integral part of making these events possible. The preparation for these trips is non-stop throughout the year, as volunteers seek donations, help with preparing the gear and reach thousands to spread the word of our continued commitment to make this non-profit 501 C 3 organization a success.
