HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is proud to partner with the Lake City Police Department in support of the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in the fight against prescription drug misuse. Help #CrushTheCrisis! Crush the Crisis aims to educate our community on the risk of medication misuse while providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of medication that may be left over from previous procedures or other medical visits.

Join us on Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on the campus of HCA Florida Lake City Hospital, at the Medical Office Building. Please follow event signs to the drive thru medication drop-off location.  

ACCEPTED ITEMS:  The focus of the event is to collect any unused tablets or capsules in any packaging, patches, medicated ointments, lotions, or drops, liquid medications (in leak-proof containers), vape cartridges (without batteries) and pet medications. 

NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS: We will not be able to accept needles, syringes, lancets and illegal drugs.
