Description

The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. 

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 57 in Lake City will have poppies available from 9AM to 3PM at the Lake City Publix Market on May 24th and 9AM to 3PM at the Lake City Winn Dixie Market on May 25th. Please come by and wear a poppy to honor the fallen and support the living who have worn our nation's uniform.
